Sandhills Quail Habitat Foundation
About the Foundation
The Sandhills Quail Habitat Foundation (SQHF) owns the property on which the Sandhills Pointing Breeds Club (SPBC) operates. It is a 501(c)(3) organization. SQHF is committed to managing its grounds to provide the highest quality habitat for hunt tests and dog training while preserving for wild quail and other game. It has partnered with Quail Forever and its team of biologists to accomplish these goals. In fact, Fields 6 and 7 are dedicated to preserving for wild quail. It’s also important to note being a participant in a Conservation Program Contract (EQIP Program) with the US Department of Agriculture. These efforts will also promote, enhance, and sustain its native flora and fauna of the Sandhills of North Carolina.

Fundraising Efforts
SQHF will soon begin fundraising efforts to build a new clubhouse for SPBC membership meetings and events. SPBC has a strong focus on education and conservation along with its hunt test and dog training activities. In addition to direct donations, SQHF has also made arrangements to accept a number of tax avoidance donations including both in-kind share donations and also Qualified Charitable Donations (QCD) from an individual’s IRA.
