7/25/26- AKC Hunt Test Judges Seminar

The Sandhills Pointing Breeds Club sponsored the AKC Hunt Test judges seminar presented by Trish James, the AKC Pointing breeds Field Director. The seminar was for judges, future judges and handlers that wanted to know more about Hunt Test rules. We had a good turnout of 23 people. They came from as far away as Texas and Buffalo. Trish had a great slide show presentation and she went over lots of scenarios that might come up while judging. The participants asked a lot of good questions explaining different things that have come up while judging and also handling. Everyone learned from Trish’s explanations of how to handle the different situations.
