Long time club member Ozzie Osborne and his wife Cyndy have decided to move to Pennsylvania to be closer to their family.
Our club owes a great deal of gratitude to Ozzie and his service to our club. He has served in multiple leadership roles but is probably most recognized for his care of our property. Our club would not be where it is today without Ozzie’s efforts as he has left his mark on virtually every corner of our land.
So many of us received our club orientation from Ozzie. Ozzie was there with Thor most mornings of the week and was always so willing to lend a hand in our training or give us his expert advise.
Ozzie is also a Hunt Test Judge and a Hunt Test, Field Trial and NAVHDA competitor. His German Shorthaired Pointer “Thor” was the FIRST DOG to claim both the AKC Master Hunter Excellent (MHX) and NAVHDA Versatile Champion (VC) titles.
At our club meeting we had a going away party for Ozzie, Cyndy and Thor. The club has installed a beautiful bronze plaque in field #2 by our flagpole commemorating Ozzie’s dedication to SPBC.
❤️We will all miss you Ozzie❤️
